Perapera ("the App", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: Email address and display name received via Google or Apple authentication.
Practice data: Your session history, scores, corrections, and saved favorite prompts.
Voice input: Spoken audio is processed on-device by Apple's Speech Recognition framework. We do not store raw audio on our servers; only the transcribed text is sent for grading.
Usage statistics: Number of sessions, streak count, and other aggregate metrics needed to operate the App.
Subscription status: Plan tier, trial status, and renewal dates managed via Adapty / Apple's StoreKit / Google Play Billing.

2. How We Use Information

To provide the App's core features (practice sessions, AI grading, history, favorites).
To authenticate users and manage accounts.
To improve service quality and develop new features.
To process subscription purchases and renewals.
To send opt-in push notifications (e.g., daily practice reminders).

3. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party providers. Please review their privacy policies for details:

Supabase — database, authentication, and serverless functions. supabase.com/privacy
OpenAI — AI scoring and corrections. Your transcribed answer text is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
Adapty — subscription management. adapty.io/privacy
Google / Apple — OAuth sign-in and in-app purchases.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Deletion

Your data is stored securely on Supabase's cloud infrastructure (regions managed by Supabase). You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from My Page → Sign Out → contact us, or by emailing support@perapera.today.

5. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS / TLS.
Database access is restricted with row-level security (RLS); each user can only read and write their own records.
API keys for third-party services are kept on the server side, never exposed to the client.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
Object to or restrict processing of your data.
Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
